I was wondering about the price at first, but these are extremely solid and well made, and I’m certain will last me a lifetime. This is the first set of pull-up baa that haven’t dinged up a doorframe for me. Great purchase!R
The grips work great, very portable. Couple thoughts:
- I've been pulled up at TSA both times I've flown with him. So while they are portable, just budget for a few extra minutes in airport security
- Widening the grips and attaching them onto your doorway ledge was fairly difficult, at least the first time. I still struggle to put them on seamlessly.
Otherwise, the product itself is very high quality. I'm looking forward to using them more often!H
Great product. Unfortunately my house is structured very old and the door frames are too long in length that I can’t grip the handles. I’ll be keeping it for when I move and use it in newer door frames.S
Still waiting on USPS to located shipment.t
I like how easy the CrossGrips are to set up and use. These have replaced a clunky freestanding chin up bar that I made the mistake of buying before I knew about the Jayflex CrossGrips. I like how the gripping handles on the CrossGrips are nice and skinny rather than bulky like some other pullup bars. These are easy to hang over a doorway and adjusting the width between the two is easy as well. I was a little leery at first but it looks like the doorway can hold it. It turns out I didn't need need to get the bundle. I could have just bought the Crossgrips by themselves and saved a little $$$. That is the only thing I wish I had done different.
- How strong are CrossGrips?
Unlike other pull-up bars, CrossGrips use the molding on the front and back of the door. This makes them incredibly strong and allows them to hold up to 300 lbs of weight.
Will CrossGrips fit on my door?
CrossGrips are built to adjust and fit on almost any door. Just to be sure it fits on your door, here are the specifications. The molding height must be between 2 and 4 inches. The width of the door frame should be 4.5” and 7.5”. See diagram on CrossGrips page for more details.
Can I take CrossGrips on a plane?
Absolutely. CrossGrips are TSA friendly. Depending on the airport you may have to take them out of your carry-on (just like a laptop) but you will have no issues after that.
Do CrossGrips have a warranty?
CrossGrips have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your CrossGrips, send them back (for free) within 30 days and receive a full refund.
Can I return CrossGrips if they don’t fit my door?
Yes, and you will get a full refund. However, since all door frame requirements are given before you order, you will need to pay for the return shipping. Measure your door before you place an order and you won't have any problem.
